Meet Hirsh
Hirsh grew up in Pennsylvania during his formative years before relocating to Orlando, where he attended high school. He later pursued his undergraduate education at Brown University and earned a JD/MBA from Tulane University.
Hirsh enjoys playing and listening to live music, traveling, playing tennis and poker, and spending time with family, friends and dogs.
Professionally, Hirsh loves working alongside his family as his partners and thrives on the variety of his role—whether it’s solving problems, working with new tenant prospects, or managing the business's day-to-day operations. Hirsh learned the business firsthand by working closely with his father and brother. Today, he embraces the opportunity to mentor his nephew, Mason, who joined the firm in 2024, ensuring the values and expertise of the firm continue to thrive.
Meet Mason
Mason Katzen grew up in Maitland, Florida. Active in sports and extracurricular activities during his youth, Mason developed a passion for playing guitar and being immersed in live music. He went on to pursue a degree in hotel management at Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island.
During his college years, Mason completed internships with Starwood and Marriott International, where he gained valuable hands-on experience in the hospitality industry. Recognized for his leadership potential, Marriott appointed him as a campus ambassador, a role in which he assisted fellow students with career opportunities and connected talented peers to Marriott’s college recruitment team.
Mason joined Marriott's highly prestigious Voyage Management Training Program upon his college graduation. He completed the program at the JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa in California, where he was promoted and remained on staff. In 2022, Mason returned to Orlando as Spa Manager at The Ritz-Carlton Grande Lakes.
Mason’s return to Orlando held special significance, as it gave him the opportunity to support his family during his father Hank’s battle with cancer. After his father’s passing, Mason joined Hirsh at MarKay Management to continue his father’s legacy. By representing the Katzen family in their real estate ventures, he is honored to be a part of the family business and is committed to upholding the values and vision his father instilled in him and the company.

For over 20 years, Theresa has been an integral part of our family business. She loves spending time at the beach and traveling with loved ones. At MarKay Management, she takes on many responsibilities, with a primary focus on accounting and office management.
